News and Events

The 2010 Australian Songwriting Contest is now closed and the judging process is underway!

We use a thorough 2-phase system for judging (as detailed in our Contests tab), so it takes a while to come up with the final results. Those who successfully make it to the short list will be notified in July/August, and the Top Ten is due to be released some time in August/September.

Australian Songwriting Contest:

The Australian Songwriting Contest is highly respected and extremely prestigious, offering more than $30,000 in prizes. APRA/AMCOS is the Major Sponsor, providing $3,000 to the Songwriter of the Year!

Keep an eye out for the new Entry Form which goes up on this site each March!
